Spring 2021

About this Concert

Handel’s Messiah at Easter, Parts II and III.

Handel’s Messiah Oratorio

A masterwork that moves and captivates your soul.

Originally conceived as a piece for Easter and premiered in the spring during the Lenten season, Houston Masterworks Chorus continues the Lenten tradition with a live streamed concert on Good Friday at 7 pm.

A Fresh Messiah

After years of performances, Houston Masterworks Chorus innovates the traditional piece by performing Part II and Part III with organ and in collaboration with Ad Deum Dance Company of Houston.

A reimagined choral work.

A live fusion of music and dance evolving with each ensemble performance.
